10/9/2011 - Congratulations to all of our teams that played their final SEASON game on Sunday 10/9/2011 against the Country Club Hills Cougars. Even though we did not win all of the games, this was a GREAT day of football and the kids (both teams) played hard. Thank you to all that have shown support for our program and our children. Next week our Widget, PeeWee and Varsity teams head to the playoffs. Let's support our Bears as they are SuPeRbOwL bound!!

8/6/2011 - Tag Day for the Matteson Bears was held on Saturday, August 6th at the Matteson Sam's Club on Cicero. This was a great fundraiser and allowed us to showcase our Cheerleading and Football program to the community. Even though it rained, our cheerleaders, football players and Spiritman, stayed positive and cheered for the crowds. A special thanks to Brett at Sam's Club (Matteson), Candice Dora - Adorable Designs by Candice for organizing the Tag Day and providing Tags, Chelsie's Candy Corner - for providing the candy. An extra special thanks to the Reed and Willis families, Spiritman, Robinson family, Stevens family.
